Order of the weekend
16th of August- Wedding Party Arrive in Aberdeenshire
Heather will be staying at Pittodrie House with the majority of the wedding guests on Friday night. Charles will be staying at Thainstone House which is 15 mins away. Check-in at Pittodrie house hotel is from 2pm. The hotel will not be offering dinner service on the Friday night, therefore please arrange alternative dinner plans. There are restaurants and pubs in Inverurie (10 minute drive away).
17th of August- Wedding Day
For those staying overnight at Pittodrie House on the Friday evening, Breakfast will be served from 0830 to 1030 on Saturday morning. Please can guests arrange own travel to and from the weekend's events.
Wedding Ceremony
1130-1230: Travel to Clatt Old Kirk for 1230 when the bagpipes will 'blaw'. Parking available at Clatt Village Hall approx 2 min walk from Clatt Auld Kirk. Wedding ceremony to start at 1300.
Reception
Travel to Pittodrie House from the wedding reception. Reception starts at 1430 and finishes at midnight (although drinks will be served afterwards until the wee hours). We'll contact you in July to request your meal choices.
18th of August- Netherton Farm Highland Games
Breakfast will be served from 0800 to 1000 on Sunday morning. 1030: Check out of Pittodrie hotel and travel to Netherton Farm for 1100 when the Highland Games will commence.
End of the weekend
Heather and Charlie will depart for their honeymoon on the NC500 at 1500.
